I couldn't believe how outdated this hotel was. The rooms were really small and didn't offer any nice views of the ocean. It was all the way up the hill from the main street, without any nearby restaurants. Sadly, there was no coffee in the rooms either. For such a price, I expected more perks and definitely a modern touch, it could have been cheaper.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were totally outdated and lacked any real view of the bay. They were quite small and without any coffee facilities, disappointing for the price.
Service
9.0
The service, however, was excellent. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful, even making me feel valued both before and after checkout. That's a solid 9/10 for me, thanks to their friendliness.
Location
8.0
The location was the highlight for me. It's awesome being so close to the water, with a nice food place nearby. The property's attractiveness was in its proximity to the sea and ease of reaching the main town. However, the uphill climb could be tiring if you're not prepared.
Dining
6.0
The dining was a bit basic. I found only donuts available all day for guests, with no variety or hot meals. A bit disappointing as it should offer more for the price.
Facilities
7.0
The shared balconies outside the bedrooms were a nice touch, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening wine while watching the town buzz. The beach was a quick walk downhill from the hotel, making it convenient for a beach day.

7.2/10

The hotel's location was great, offering views of the ocean and being just off the main tourist route on a side street. However, the building appeared worn down and could use some TLC, as doors didn't close well. The service exceeded my expectations with staff going above and beyond to be helpful. Even though the dining experience was lacking, the complimentary coffee was a nice touch. The rooms, although connected by a bathroom in a separate building, were spacious and comfortable with the convenience of a spot to lock up valuables. Overall, the hotel provided good value for money.

Rooms

My room, although across the hall from a ceiling leak, was clean and comfortable with a separate bathroom building for added privacy.

The dining experience was lacking, with the complimentary coffee being the highlight. The gourmet pizzas were a disappointment.

The hotel facilities were decent, but improvements could be made for a better overall experience.

7.4/10

I can't say enough about how lovely the location of this hotel is! Just a short walk to the ferry and conveniently close to great dining spots and shops, while still being tucked away from any noise. The rooms were a pleasant surprise considering the historic building, and despite being small, they were cozy and well worth the price we paid. However, I must admit they felt a bit cramped and not as clean as expected.

Service

I found the service here to be top-notch, with a very professional and friendly staff. They made my stay enjoyable and stress-free.
Location

The location could not have been more ideal for exploring the area. Walking distance to everything I needed, yet not in the middle of the busy spots. The shared balconies were a lovely touch to soak in the morning vibe of the town.
Dining
5.0
Unfortunately, the dining options were quite limited, with just coffee and donuts available, which was a bit disheartening. I hope they can enhance this aspect in the future.
Facilities
8.0
The shared balconies and the central location were the standout facilities. It was nice to have these spots to enjoy a coffee in the mornings while taking in the town's energy.
