Reviews and Ratings
I couldn't believe how outdated this hotel was. The rooms were really small and didn't offer any nice views of the ocean. It was all the way up the hill from the main street, without any nearby restaurants. Sadly, there was no coffee in the rooms either. For such a price, I expected more perks and definitely a modern touch, it could have been cheaper.
The hotel's location was great, offering views of the ocean and being just off the main tourist route on a side street. However, the building appeared worn down and could use some TLC, as doors didn't close well. The service exceeded my expectations with staff going above and beyond to be helpful. Even though the dining experience was lacking, the complimentary coffee was a nice touch. The rooms, although connected by a bathroom in a separate building, were spacious and comfortable with the convenience of a spot to lock up valuables. Overall, the hotel provided good value for money.
I can't say enough about how lovely the location of this hotel is! Just a short walk to the ferry and conveniently close to great dining spots and shops, while still being tucked away from any noise. The rooms were a pleasant surprise considering the historic building, and despite being small, they were cozy and well worth the price we paid. However, I must admit they felt a bit cramped and not as clean as expected.
